Where We Stand

Many of the professionals who call us are afraid of one thing above all: losing the job or license they've spent years building. That fear is real, and it's one of the biggest things keeping high-functioning professionals from getting help before things get worse.

Every case manager begins FMLA and leave-of-absence paperwork as soon as you're admitted, coordinating with your employer only with your authorization. Confidentiality is standard for every client, consistent with HIPAA — nothing is shared without your permission.

What we want to be direct about: this isn't a separate, named executive or professionals-only program. We don't offer a dedicated executive track, private professional housing, or licensure-defense advocacy — we don't coordinate directly with a Board of Nursing, a physician health program, or similar monitoring body. And we're an inpatient treatment facility, not a DUI or DMV alcohol-evaluation service — we don't perform license-reinstatement screenings. If specialized programming like that is what you need, we'd rather point you to the right place than have you arrive expecting something we don't offer.

What you can expect

  • FMLA and leave-of-absence paperwork started on admission
  • Confidentiality consistent with HIPAA — no employer contact without your authorization
  • Physician-led medical care and masters-level clinicians network-wide
  • Direct honesty about what specialized programming does and doesn't exist

Important to know

Virtue does not currently operate a dedicated executive or professionals-only program, private professional housing, or licensure-advocacy service, and we don't work directly with a Board of Nursing or physician health program. We also don't perform DUI or DMV alcohol-evaluation screenings. Ask admissions directly if dedicated programming or a specific service like this is what you're looking for.

(866) 461-3339
Will my employer find out I'm in treatment?
Your privacy is protected the same way it is for every client, under HIPAA and standard confidentiality practices. We don't contact your employer without your authorization. If you're coordinating FMLA or a leave of absence, your case manager works directly with you on what gets shared and when.
Can I keep my job while I'm in treatment?
That's the fear we hear most from working professionals who call us — losing a job or license they've worked hard for. We can't make employment decisions for you, but our case managers begin FMLA and leave-of-absence paperwork on admission, which is often the piece that protects your job while you're out.
How does FMLA work if I come to Virtue?
Your case manager starts the FMLA paperwork as soon as you're admitted. Turnaround depends on your employer and the specifics of your leave — ask your case manager for a realistic timeline for your situation.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is standard for every client, consistent with HIPAA. Nothing is shared with an employer, family member, or anyone else without your authorization.
Do you have a dedicated program for executives or professionals?
Not as a separate, named track — we're direct about that. We don't currently operate an executive-only program, private professional housing, or licensure-defense advocacy, and we don't coordinate directly with a Board of Nursing, a physician health program, or similar monitoring body. What we do offer every client, including working professionals, is physician-led medical care, masters-level clinical therapists, and case management that includes FMLA and leave coordination. If specialized professional programming is specifically what you're looking for, tell admissions up front so they can be straightforward about fit.
Do you handle DUI evaluations or license-reinstatement screenings?
Evaluations and license-reinstatement screenings are handled by DMV-approved evaluators and state licensing boards, and that is the right place to start for those. We are an inpatient treatment facility, so if treatment is part of the picture too, call and we will tell you what we can do.
Is treatment covered by insurance?
In most cases, yes. Most commercial and PPO plans provide coverage. Our admissions team verifies your specific benefits before you commit to anything.

Ready to Protect Your Job and Get Help?
