Which of these sounds most like you?

The clinical names come later. Find the sentence that fits your situation and it will tell you what that is called and where to read about it.

Still not sure? That is the single most common question our admissions team takes. One call gets you a clinical assessment, which is what actually settles the level. You genuinely do not need to have this worked out before you phone.

The continuum

We plan your next level of care before you finish the current one.

Detox, then residential, then outpatient is the common path, and you keep the same team the whole way rather than starting again somewhere new. Where you start is set by your assessment, not by this order.

Dual diagnosis

The mental health part is treated in the same plan, not referred out.

  • Anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and bipolar treated at the same time as the substance use
  • The same team, in one plan, rather than a referral out or a wait until you are stable
  • Treating one and ignoring the other is a common reason recovery does not hold
  • One honest limit: our programs are substance-use primary. No substance use in the picture and we will say so
Substance use Mental healthRarely one at a time.

Programs by location

Find the location that runs the program you need.

Six facilities across four states, and each one runs a particular set of programs. Here is what is where, so you can head for the one that fits — and if travel is part of the picture, admissions plans that with you.

Arizona
Sun City West
Medical detox only. Couples admitted together.
Texas
Killeen, Houston
Detox and residential at both. Outpatient and Warriors Path at Killeen. Pregnancy accepted at both.
Nevada
Las Vegas — Corbett, Las Vegas — Montessouri
Detox and residential at Corbett, PHP and IOP at Montessouri. Eating disorder care at both. Methadone at Corbett.
Oregon
Astoria
Detox and residential. The other location where methadone is available.

Looking for adolescent treatment? Silver State Adolescent Treatment Center in Las Vegas is a separate sister brand treating ages 11 to 17, with its own team and admissions line. It is not one of our programs, but it is where we would point you.

What levels of care does Virtue Recovery offer?
We offer medical detox, residential treatment, and — at select locations — PHP and IOP outpatient care, along with medication-assisted treatment and specialty tracks like dual-diagnosis and eating disorder treatment. Not sure which one fits your situation? Our team can help you figure that out in one call.
What is the difference between detox and residential treatment?
Detox is short-term, medically supervised care focused on safely managing withdrawal, while residential treatment is longer-term, full-time care focused on deeper recovery work after you are medically stable. Many guests move through both as one continuous plan.
Do you offer outpatient treatment?
Outpatient programming (PHP and IOP) is available at our Las Vegas and Killeen locations — our other locations focus on detox and residential care. Admissions can tell you which of those is reachable for you, and a clinical assessment settles which level you need.
Do you treat mental health conditions along with addiction?
Yes — our programs are built to treat substance use alongside co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and trauma, not as separate, disconnected tracks.
I am not sure what level of care I or my loved one needs — how do I figure that out?
You do not have to. A clinical assessment is what determines the right starting point, whether that is detox, residential or something else, and our admissions team arranges one on a short, confidential call. Nothing about it commits you to anything.
Does insurance cover these programs?
Most major insurance plans cover at least part of treatment, and coverage can vary by program and location — the fastest way to know for sure is a quick, free verification with our admissions team.
Do you have a program for veterans?
Yes — Warriors Path is available across our network, with specialized programming for the unique experiences of military service members and veterans.
How do I know which location is right for me?
It depends on what kind of care you need and where you are — our team can quickly match you to the right location based on your situation rather than you having to guess.
